Ingredients

3 oz firm tofu (85g), 1 cup broccoli (100g), 1/2 cup bell peppers (50g), 1 tbsp sesame oil (15ml)

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz (85 g) firm tofu, cubed

  • 1 cup (100 g) broccoli florets

  • 1/2 cup (50 g) bell peppers, sliced

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce


Instructions:

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add cubed tofu and cook until golden, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  2. Add broccoli and bell peppers to the skillet. Stir-fry for 5 minutes.

  3. Add tofu back to the skillet, pour in soy sauce, and cook for 1-2 more minutes. Serve immediately.


Flavoring Options:

  1. Teriyaki Sauce: Make a low-calorie version with tamari, a touch of honey, and ginger (~15 calories/tbsp).

  2. Zesty Tofu: Marinate tofu in lime juice, garlic powder, and soy sauce before stir-frying (~5 calories).

  3. Cilantro Lime Garnish: Top with chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice (0 calories).
